€46.1 million and 2,252 new employees in the Ninth Round of the Investment Incentives Program

The Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Mr. Mladjan Dinkic awarded contracts for the non-refundable investment funds to 18 investment companies that will employ 2,252 people in Serbia. In the ninth round of the Investment Incentives Program, conducted by the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), based on the Decree of the State Investment, 26 applications were submitted, 18 approved, out of which 5 represent foreign investors. Realization of these contracts will enable total investments valued at €46,083,386 in 13 Serbian municipalities, along with opening of 2,252 new employment posts. For this specific activity, €6,219,500 of non- refundable funds from the state budget have been devoted.
Contracts were signed with the following companies: Danny Style (Serbia), Proleter (Serbia), Grupo Fiorentino (Italia), Alfa Properties (Serbia), K&M (Serbia), Lucic Prigrevica (Serbia), Grah Automotive (Slovenia), Insert (Serbia), Wizard (Serbia), Ivkovic (Serbia), LTS (Serbia), Primar Tehno (Serbia), Almag (Serbia), Gruner Serbian (Germany), HintTech (Netherlands), RTRK (Serbia), List Solutions (Serbia), Sprinktek (Switzerland), and the investments will be made in the following municipalities: Vranje, Ivanjica, Vlasotince, Beograd, Apatin, Novi Sad, Batocina, Ruma, Vrsac, Mali Idjos, Backi Petrovac, Kladovo, and Sabac.
Ivanjica, Apatin, Batocina and Mali Idjos municipalities have a substantial unemployment rate, therefore the effects of the fore mentioned investments will contribute to the equal regional development.
In the previous eight application rounds a committee of experts awarded non-refundable state grants to 88 companies. The total amount provided from the state budget amounted to €32,816,500 for investments totaling €558,031,025 and 12,877 employment openings.
