B2B Meetings Between German and Austrian Buyers with Serbian Suppliers

Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) organized B2B meetings of seven German and Austrian companies with over thirty Serbian suppliers. International companies attending the Belgrade event were: BBG (production of agricultural machines), BMTI (production of metal constructions), Ferro (industrial installations), Hoffman & Co. (components for automotive industry, railway and home appliances), NGR (production of recycling machines), Umdasch (production of machines) and Wittur (production of components for all types of elevators and electrical lifts).

Thirty Serbian companies have conducted over one hundred B2B meetings with German and Austrian companies. It is expected that in the following six months these meetings will result in a realization of contractual business relations among these companies.

Initiators of the event were SIEPA and BMÖ organization, which was established by the German and Austrian companies for the joint representation, with the aim to reach out for the suppliers of parts, components, and services around the globe. The Austrian BMÖ gathers over 300 companies, some of them world known such as Magna Steier, Simens Austria etc.)

This was the final B2B event organized by SIEPA during the "Export Days" action. As a grand finale of the entire action, SIEPA will award exporter of the year on December 10th. Traditionally, the awards are given in four categories - Exporter of the Year, The Best Export Product, Conquering the New Market and The SME Exporter of the Year. The Volksbank Serbia will award €15,000 to the local SME for the improvement of the export potential, DHL International will award the same amount in services for the Conquering the New Market category and Orange Studio company will design a thorough marketing campaign valued at €15,000 for the winner of The Best Export Product. Mikroelektronika company will be the official partner at this year's event.
