Open Competition for Official Serbian Souvenirs for EXPO 2010

As announced, an open competition for the official souvenirs of Serbia at EXPO 2010 has started on August 1. Designers and producers of souvenirs are invited to submit their original designs until October 15. The Public Call can be downloaded here (in Serbian).

Competition, as well as elements of Serbia's participation at the World Exhibition in Shanghai were promoted at the themed exhibition Srbija@EXPO2010 in Belgrade's gallery O3ONE (July 20 - 29, 2009). As part of the exhibition, a public debate themed after Serbian souvenirs took place on July 29, with the participation of Souvenirs of Serbia project, (www.suvenirisrbije.com), National Tourism Organization of Serbia (www.serbia-tourism.org), Tourist Organization of Belgrade (http://www.tob.co.yu/eng/) and SIEPA.

We hope that the exhibition brought to life and motivated talented people to participate in this project. The opening of the exhibition was an attractive media event, while the exhibition itself was an interesting experience for the broad public. The contemporary concept introduced Serbia's presentation at EXPO, the architectural solution to Serbia's pavilion, and SIEPA.
