The Ninth Belgrade Stock Exchange International Conference
UPGRADE IN BELGRADE 2010

This year's conference themes was guided by the current developments in the domestic and other regional and European markets, as well as other expected trends:
PANEL 1: Financial market -How to reach stability?
A very topical issue which involves the participation of speakers from EU Institutions, European exchanges that operated and are operating in conditions of great instability, and other representatives of financial sector. Mr. Božidar Ðelić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Technological Development, Republic of Serbia, Mr. Heinrich Schaller, joint CEO of the Vienna Stock Exchange and Mr. Qi Bin, Research Center of the Chinese Commission for the Securities have confirmed participation so far.
PANEL 2 : Serbian capital market towards EU
Theme is based on exchanging experiences between countries which aremembers of the EU, with special emphasis on the stock exchanges of countries that subsequently joined. The panel is expected to be attended by representative of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia and national and other European Security Commissions, who will discuss legislation harmonization and current and future frames of capital market. Mr. Slobodan Ilić, State Secretary in Ministry of Finance of Republic of Serbia, Mr. Milko Štimac, president of the Serbian Securities Commission, Mr. Žiga Kosi, Slovenia`s Security Commission representative and Ms. Liene Dubava, Member of Management Board of the NASDAQ OMX Riga have confirmed their participation with further confirmations pending.
PANEL 3 : Financial innovations - new technologies
The panel is based on innovations and their implementation in data distribution and experiences of data vending and IT companies that offer solutions for trading and reporting. Teletrader, Thomson Reuters and ORC representatives have confirmed their attendance.
In addition to the Conference content, a special IFC lecture will be held by representatives of IFC. Also, Serbian companies which have shown the best investor relations standards in the past year will be presented with awards.
We hope that Belgrade Stock Exchange Ninth International Conference will contribute to practical experiences and knowledge sharing in the chosen topics, as well as a platform for opinions and ideas to be exchanged between the participants. Structure of participants will be representative of developed and developing stock exchanges, investor institutions, securities commissions, professional organizations and other institutions of the stock exchange business.
