ABOUT PROGETTI COMPANY

  • Progetti company from Vladimirci has been established as a result of long term tradition of footwear production in the Rossi family from an Italian city of Perugia. Since late 1980s when they started their business in Serbia, it was led by unmistaken instinct to find and set the best possible combination of labor and capital. Prada, Gucci, Nero Giardini, Falc, Janet and Janet are some of the famous customers of Progetti from Vladimirci, Serbia.

WHY SERBIA?

  • When thinking about a possible location for our initial investment, the deciding factor to invest in Serbia were the Serbian people's strong tradition in shoe making, cost-efficient labor costs and a very attractive flat income tax rate.

SERBIA-EXPERIENCE

  • After many years of working in Serbian factories the Rossi brothers, Romano and Enrico, made decision to set up their own company for production of footwear upper parts in Serbia. Company Progetti has been established in 2000, with a head office in Sombor. As they have been highly satisfied with results there, in 2002 they rented a factory in Sabac with 350 employees. At an auction in 2004 company Mladost from Vladimirci has been purchased and 350 workers have been employed from Sabac and Vladimirci.
  • Nowadays, Progetti has 850 employees, mostly women, in cities of Sombor, Sabac, Vladimirci, Belgrade and Vrsac. A 100% of its revenue is achieved by export of products to West European markets. Keeping continuity of production the family Rossi provided jobs for approximately 4,000 employees in several factories in Serbia. At the same time, they have adapted production organization of newest global trends by investing into equipment and personnel training.
