According to the divisions of the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC) the following items had the greatest export share: iron and steel (EUR 460.6 million, 7.7% of total export), clothes (EUR 384.8 million, 6.5% of total export), cereals and cereal products (EUR 340.8 million, 5.7% of total export), fruits and vegetables (EUR 323.0 million, 5.4% of total export), non ferrous metals (EUR 315.2 million, 5.3% of total export), electrical machinery, units and appliances (EUR 299.4 million, 5.0% of total export), other miscellaneous manufactured articles (EUR 245.1 million, 4.1% of total export), other metal produce (EUR 239.0 million, 4.0% of total export), rubber products (EUR 168.2 million, 2.8% of total export) and power generating machinery and equipment (EUR 148.6 million, 2.5% of total export).

The first ten divisions with the greatest import share were the following: petroleum and petroleum products (EUR 1.1 billion, 9.5% of total import), road vehicles (EUR 854.9 million, 7.7% of total import), gas, natural and manufactured (EUR 561.0 million, 5.0% of total import), general industrial machinery (EUR 497.1 million, 4.5% of total import), electrical machinery, units and appliances (EUR 495.6 million, 4.4% of total import), medical and pharmaceutical products (EUR 494.1 million, 4.4% of total import), iron and steel (EUR 441.9 million, 4.0% of total import), paper, paperboard and articles of paper pulp (EUR 356.9 million, 3.2% of total import), telecommunication units and equipment (EUR 347.6 million, 3.1% of total import) and specialized industrial machinery (EUR 340.1 million, 3.0% of total import).
