According to the divisions of the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC) the following items had the greatest export share: iron and steel (EUR 721.3 million, 9.8% of total export), non-ferrous metals (EUR 525.4 million, 7.1% of total export), electrical machinery, units and appliances (EUR 446.5 million, 6.0% of total export), cereals and cereal products (EUR 435.0 million, 5.9% of total export), fruits and vegetables (EUR 398.0 million, 5.4% of total export), clothes (EUR 306.2 million, 4.1% of total export), other metal produce (EUR 257.3 million, 3.5% of total export), other miscellaneous manufactured articles (EUR 256.7 million, 3.5% of total export), rubber products (EUR 216.8 million, 2.9% of total export), and petroleum and petroleum products (EUR 185.9 million, 2.5% of total export).

The first ten divisions with the greatest import share were the following: petroleum and petroleum products (EUR 1.1 billion, 9.0% of total import), gas, natural and manufactured (EUR 707.1 million, 5.6% of total import), non-ferrous metals (EUR 504.3 million, 4.0% of total import), electrical machinery, units and appliances (EUR 483.6 million, 3.8% of total import), iron and steel (EUR 443.5 million, 3.5% of total import), road vehicles (EUR 426.7 million, 3.4% of total import), general industrial machinery (EUR 367.0 million, 2.9% of total import), plastics (EUR 325.0 million, 2.6% of total import), telecommunication units and equipment (EUR 324.1 million, 2.6% of total import), and paper, paperboard and articles of paper pulp (EUR 319.3 million, 2.5% of total import).
