Foreign Trade Data
The overall foreign trade in the Republic of Serbia, for the period of January - December 2009 amounted to EUR 17.1 billion, which was a 25.3% decrease, compared to the same period in 2008.
The value of export amounted to EUR 6.0 billion, which was a 19.7% decrease when compared to the same period in 2008, while the value of imports amounted to EUR 11.2 billion, which was a 28.0% decrease relative to the same period in 2008.
The deficit amounted to EUR 5.2 billion, which was a decrease of 35.6% in relation to the same period in 2008.
The export - import ratio equaled 53.3% and was higher if compared to the same period in 2008 when it was 48.0%.
