As a result of substantial reforms in the financial sector, the banking system in Serbia is widely assessed as sound and efficient. Also, insurance companies have gone through a recent expansion and currently there are 17 players in the market. When it comes to leasing companies, majority is foreign owned and dealing with new and used equipment, including passenger cars. Furthermore, the Big 4 consulting companies in accounting, auditing and management consulting are present in Serbia.
